PRACTICAL BUS SCheDULES
As one of the primary functions of the website, it was critical that JTA’s bus schedules were organized and easy to use. Starting with the existing backend structure, S4 performed informal user testing and iterations to rework the feel and organizational structure of the schedules. We created a more intuitive experience whether users accessed the site via desktop computers or mobile devices.
GETTING IN TOUCH WITH USER NEEDS
At the beginning of the project, S4 discovered that over 80% of users accessed the site on a mobile device even though the site was not mobile compatible. A significant Phase I goal was to ensure the new design looked great and functioned properly from any device.
TAKING THE BRAND DIGITAL
JTA has long prided itself on a strong presence in print collateral and physical spaces, but that brand identity wasn’t coming through online. Incorporating JTA’s visual identity into the new design unifies the brand and provides a more positive experience to riders.
